Trust, Sources & Methodology
Every recommendation is sourced. Every document is auditable. Where the line is, we say so.
Source-cited output
Every strategist recommendation links to its primary source — statute, IRS publication, agency program page, court rule, HUD handbook, or state code — with the section number and effective date. No unsourced claims.
Each answer carries a verified-on timestamp showing when the underlying source was last checked.
Jurisdiction-aware
Programs and rules are scoped to country, state, and county where applicable. Where a rule varies by jurisdiction, the answer says so and shows the variant for your location.
Coverage: federal U.S. programs, all 50 states + D.C., and jurisdiction-flagged guidance for major metro areas.
Document fidelity
Official forms (IRS, HUD, SBA, USCIS, state courts) are used in their published versions — not AI-paraphrased. We populate the real form; we don't substitute a generated lookalike.
Every generated package ships with a cover sheet listing inputs, sources, version of each form, and a reviewer signature line.
Confidentiality & security
Data encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). Row-level access controls scope every record to the owning account. Service keys live server-side only.
We do not train AI models on your data. No content you submit is used to fine-tune or improve any model. Data processing agreement available on request.
Audit trail
Every recommendation and every document package is logged with the inputs used, the model and version, the sources cited, and the timestamp. Exportable as PDF for client files or e-discovery.
Reviewer-in-the-loop (Firm mode)
Professional accounts can require attorney, CPA, or enrolled-agent sign-off before a document package is marked send-ready. Reviewer identity and timestamp are stamped into the cover sheet.
White-labeling and per-firm audit log export are available on the professional plan.
Where the line is
XILLION is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. XILLION is not a CPA firm and does not provide tax advice. Using XILLION does not create an attorney-client or accountant-client relationship.
Output is informational, source-cited research and document assembly. For binding advice on your specific situation, consult a licensed attorney or CPA in your jurisdiction. The strategist flags situations where escalation to counsel is recommended.
What firms and counsel typically ask, answered
Is the output traceable?▾
Yes. Every claim has an inline citation to a primary source with the section number and the date that source was last verified. Every document package logs the full input/output chain.
Can a reviewer be required before send?▾
Yes, on the professional plan. Packages stay in 'awaiting review' status until an authorized reviewer signs off. Reviewer name, role, license number, and timestamp are stamped into the cover sheet.
Where is data stored?▾
On compliant cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit, row-level access scoped per account. Server-side keys never reach the browser. Backups are encrypted and retention-limited.
Will my data be used to train models?▾
No. Submitted content is never used for model training or fine-tuning. A signed DPA is available for professional accounts.
How current are the sources?▾
Sources display a 'last verified' date next to each citation. Programs change; we re-verify on a rolling cadence and flag stale citations before they're used in a package.
What if a source has changed?▾
The strategist re-checks before issuing a recommendation. If the underlying rule has been amended since the cited date, the answer says so and points to the amended version.
Can we white-label this for our firm?▾
Yes, on the professional plan. Firm name, logo, disclaimer language, and cover-sheet branding are configurable.

Reporting an issue with a citation
Found a citation that's wrong, stale, or doesn't match your jurisdiction? Use the in-app "Report citation" control on any sourced answer, or email the reviewer team. We treat citation errors as P1 and re-verify before re-publishing.
