Attorney-grade document assembly, with the receipts attached.

Firm Mode turns XILLION into a reviewer-in-the-loop workspace for your practice. Every cover sheet carries your firm name, the responsible attorney's signature line and license number, the jurisdiction, and a cryptographic timestamp. Every research claim is sourced inline. Every package is logged in an append-only audit trail you can export.

What Firm Mode delivers

Defensible, client-ready, on your letterhead.

Reviewer sign-off

Packages stay in awaiting-review until the responsible attorney signs. Name, role, license #, jurisdiction, and timestamp are stamped on the cover sheet.

Inline citations

Every research statement carries a source link — statute, regulation, agency guidance, or court opinion — pinned to the paragraph it supports.

Append-only audit log

Every generation, edit, sign-off, and download is recorded with user, IP, and SHA-256 hash. Exportable as CSV/JSON for malpractice or matter files.

Firm letterhead

Firm name, address, attorney signature block, and bar admissions render on every cover sheet and packet front-page automatically.

50-state jurisdiction

Statutory citations and procedural forms switch automatically by venue. Federal layer for IRS, USCIS, SSA, HUD, and bankruptcy.

Confidentiality posture

End-to-end encryption in transit and at rest. No client data used for model training. SOC 2-aligned controls. Data residency on request.

Client-ready packets

Cover sheet, table of contents, drafted documents, exhibit list, source appendix, and signature page — assembled in a single submission-ready PDF.

Matter & client labels

Tag every package by matter number and client. Filter the audit log by matter for end-of-year reconciliation and conflicts review.

Disclaimers handled

Jurisdiction-correct unauthorized-practice and reliance disclaimers append automatically — never accidentally shipped without them.

How a packet is built

From intake to signed PDF, in five logged steps.

  1. Step 01

    Intake

Client facts, venue, and matter type captured into a structured brief.

  2. Step 02

    Research

Authority pulled, pinpoint-cited, and ranked by primary vs persuasive.

  3. Step 03

    Draft

Documents assembled on firm letterhead with disclaimers in place.

  4. Step 04

    Review

Attorney edits, accepts citations, then signs — locking the cover sheet.

  5. Step 05

    Deliver

Submission-ready PDF, plus exportable audit log entry and source appendix.

Common questions

Practical, lawyerly answers.

Is this the unauthorized practice of law?
No. XILLION is document-assembly and research software. In Firm Mode, every packet requires a licensed reviewer to sign before it can be downloaded. Disclaimers append automatically based on jurisdiction.
Can I see the source for every claim?
Yes. Citations are pinpoint and inline. Hovering or clicking any cited paragraph opens the underlying statute, regulation, agency guidance, or opinion. A source appendix is bundled into every PDF.
Is the audit log defensible?
Yes. It is append-only, hashed (SHA-256), and exportable as CSV or JSON. Each entry records user, IP, user-agent, model version, inputs hash, and reviewer sign-off.
Do you train on my client data?
Never. Client matter content is excluded from all training and analytics pipelines and is encrypted at rest. Data-residency commitments available for Legal Unlimited.
Which jurisdictions are supported?
All 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia, plus federal IRS, USCIS, SSA, HUD, EEOC, FTC, and U.S. bankruptcy. State coverage rolls quarterly; see the changelog on Trust & Sources.
Can multiple attorneys share Firm Mode?
Yes. Reviewer profiles are per-account and labelled in the audit log. Email support to add additional licensed reviewers to your firm workspace.
